The ABCs of IEPs: A comprehensive workshop for parents
If you are the parent of a student who receives special education services or are considering a referral to special education, don’t miss this workshop! Learn about the nuts and bolts of the IEP process from district administrators and parents, and how you can create partnerships that work for your child.
Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their child's IEP to refer to during the workshop.

Community Advisory Committee (CAC)
The Community Advisory Committee is made up of parents, educators, and community members who are involved in special education. The CAC of the North Coastal Consortium for Special Education (NCCSE) provides meetings and special events throughout the year and advises the superintendents of the 14 School Districts about special education services.
Each meeting includes information on a disability-related topic, an update on legislation that affects special education, and announcements of local events and workshops.

North Coastal Consortium for Special Education
The 14 member school districts within the North Coastal Consortium for Special Education (NCCSE) work collaboratively to provide a continuum of services for students with exceptional needs. For a list of these school districts and links to their websites, click here.
