The Special Education Directors from each of our NCCSE districts are committed to having a comprehensive program of workshops that respond to the concerns of parents as well as staff members. Each year, the staff development committee meets to identify the needs of our consortium and plans meaningful programs that will address those needs. Our program offerings are diverse, from educating parents and staff members that work with students with autism to the latest information on IEP issues.
We are an approved continuing education provider for the following boards:
When available, we send documentation of attendance to participants who attend our workshops in their entirety. Participants who arrive late or leave early will not receive an attendance document. We do not provide partial credit. It is the participant's responsibility to sign-in at the beginning and sign-out at the end of the training and complete an evaluation form. Usually, we send documentation of attendance via e-mail to participants who complete all requirements within one week of the training date. No exceptions.
These are requirements that we must follow as an approved professional development/continuing education provider. NCCSE maintains responsibility for NCCSE presented programs.
